Household Computer Survey

I was just writing about my kids bedrooms and it got me wondering just how many kids do have computers in their rooms.  If you have a minute please leave me a comment about the computers in your house.  Laptop computer vs. desktop computer, how many do you have, how many kids, and their ages, are sharing them, which ones have internet connection, which are etc.  My children tell me that all of their friends have computers in their rooms and I just wonder…

  1. We have 6 kids ages 1-14. They all share one desktop computer with an internet connection. But we are living overseas so we don’t represent the average American family.

    Never believe your kids when they tell you that all their friends have something :-)

    If it’s important to you to know what the friends have, you might want to ask: does X have one? does Y have one? I’ve done that in the past and found that only 3 kids had what they claimed everybody has…

  2. yes.. It’s right presently my all of 4 cousins hv a separate systems in there room one of them having lptp and internet connection..

  4. 2 kids, both have computers in their rooms but their older 21 and 18 and there is a computer downstairs for the family to use. just remember that they do use a lot of electricity and it will add up over the year on your bill

  10. We are five at home: my husband, 3 kids aged to 13 to 18 and myself. Each of us have its laptop, We all have our needs at the same time. Concerning our children, they need it for school, although they do not use it more for games than their homeworks.

  11. yes thats true most of the childerens thay have their computer in their room and evem laptop as well.the computers are even enabled with wifi internet connection and bluetooth headphones.and the internet connection is highspeed so they can enjoy the online gamings,

  12. i am agree with you.i am sure these days all the childeren have their computer in their room and even the laptop with wireless high speed connenction.it has become the basic neccesity of their life now.
