About

the OTHER Cindy!

My name is Cin Langston, I am a Wife, a Mom, a Freelance Writer, and a Real Estate Agent. I am taking over Her Family Blog for Cindy W. so she can focus on her shopping blog. The goal for Her Family Blog is to provide loads of good, helpful content relating to real women and families so that you have no need to go anywhere else for your mommy questions, to share your unique and important views as a woman, to get recharged when you’re feeling spent, have some company when you are feeling alone, and hopefully be a little entertained along the way!

I still don’t know how I got so lucky to be here but I do know this… I have two favorite things.
1) My Family.
2) Writing.
And here I am writing ABOUT family.

I have always had memories of me loving to write stories and type on my little typewriter, so I have been aware that my fondness of writing dates way back. I recently found a picture from my 5th birthday that shows me receiving that beloved typewriter, so now I know how far back the writing bug bit me. It wasn’t long after that, that I learned there were children out there who did not have parents, or any family at all, who lived a life very different from my own. I pledged to one day provide a family for someone who needed it. Kid’s interests come and go but that passion only grew until 2003 when Hubby and I adopted 3 year old Sari and her 7 year old brother Drew. Writing sort of took a back seat over the years for various reasons and I feel so blessed to have the opportunity to blend my two favorite things.

After the adoption of my kids I did a ton of research online, still do in fact, and will share all the tips and secrets I uncover regarding women and families, and how to balance and make the most of both of those roles. Far from being an expert, I share in all the same struggles, and together we will become educated, enlightened, and empowered to be the best Mother, Wife, and Self we can be.

  2. Hey Cin! Hey readers!

I lost time for blogging and never picked up the shopping blog. I was so burnt out on writing that I had to take a step back and take a second to think about things. That’s when I decided I needed to start my own blog, no company, nothing but me and my Joes. The blog is at: LoveMyJoes.org.

I have added this blog, the one that made me fall in love with blogging, to the blogroll there, and would love if you could do the same.
